Never Leave Your Dog in a Hot Car
Leaving your dog in a car on a hot day can be deadly, even if you’re only gone for a few minutes. The temperature inside a parked car can rise rapidly, quickly reaching dangerous levels that can cause heatstroke, organ failure, or even death. Dogs can’t cool themselves as efficiently as humans, making them especially vulnerable to overheating. It’s always safer to leave your dog at home or bring them with you, rather than risk their life in a hot car.
