Visiting South City at Orange
South City is operating under the Orange Level of the Covid Protection Framework from 3rd December 2021.
We are welcoming all of our customers and community into the shopping centre, regardless of vaccination status as per the Government guidelines for the Orange Level. We ask that you all follow these Government guidelines by:
- Signing in with the QR codes at the entrances to the shopping centre
- Manual sign in box is available near the Food Court
- Signing in with the QR codes at the entrances to each retail store
- Wearing a face covering
- Maintaining a 1m distance
- Sanitising your hands regularly
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
Under the Covid Protection Framework, each retailer has their own set of requirements based on the type of business they operate. Some may be required to sight or scan your My Vaccine Pass in order to open under the Orange Level.
We ask that you are understanding of the position each business has had to take.
WHAT STORES ARE OPEN?
All the stores at South City are open, but the way that each retailer operates depends on what category they fall into under the Covid Protection Framework.
GENERAL RETAIL STORES
General retail is not required to use My Vaccine Passes, however, some businesses may choose to.
If this is the case, they will ask for your My Vaccine Pass to be presented and sight or verify it for you prior to entry.
FOOD – SOUTH CITY SHOPPING CENTRE
In the Orange setting, our food retailers will ask you for your My Vaccine Pass. Upon presentation of your Pass, you may sit and eat/drink your meal in the Food Court.
If you are unable to present your My Vaccine Pass, you will be offered contactless pick up to take your food off-site to eat.
HAIR AND BEAUTY
In the Orange setting, close contact businesses such as beauticians, nails salons and hairdressers will require My Vaccine Passes to be presented in order to operate.
If you are unable to present your My Vaccine Pass you will not be able to enter these premises.
The Playground is open and customers are asked to try to maintain 1 metre physical distancing.
The vaccination clinic is open and walk-ins are welcomed.
